# Who is Optua?

## Optua is your Scottish-first, all round provider for businesses and residents.

We are a challenger in the space of broadband, cloud voice and business call answering. Optua was founded on the foundation of challenging poor experiences with conglomorate ISP providers.

## So... how are you any different?

We are a gigabit-first provider. We believe that fast speeds should be a need and not a luxury now-a-days for your internet speeds. It's been 14 years (at the time of writing! **January 2025**) since gigabit speeds were released in London, and still modern businesses and homes are seeing speeds of less than 500mbps. If you sign up with us, **we promise you'll get at least 900mbps.** If we can't get you that, we'll make sure you get it the day it comes to your address.

Not only that - we are customer-centric. You are at the forefront of our operations! We answer customer service calls at our 0800 number in a guaranteed less than 10 seconds, and promise to call you back within 1 working day if we need to call you back.
